What do we mean by a fracture?
Friends Life fracture cover includescertain fractures defined according to Black’s MedicalDictionary (39th edition). These are: comminuted,complicated, compound, depressed, greenstick,pathological or simple. Fracture cover does not includeany other type of fracture.
What you can and cannot claim.
• Friends Life will pay out the fracture cover benefit for one of the specified fractures during any 12 month period.
• If more than one fracture is suffered at any one time, Friends Life will only pay for one of the fractures suffered and you decides which one.
• Friends Life is unable to pay fracture cover benefit for a fracture suffered by a child.
